Portfolio

You are required to map your learning to the Knowledge, Skills & Behaviours (KSBs) outlined in the DATS Standard through Portfolio Mapping.

This process involves mapping the work you completed during your university modules, including work-based modules, you can also map tasks undertaken in your job role with your employer.

The university modules have already been uploaded to our system, graded, internally and externally moderated, and signed off at the Assessment and Progression Boards. You only need to create an overarching document that summarises each item in your portfolio and maps them to the relevant KSBs for your specialism (pathway) using the Portfolio template and KSBs Matrix.

You will be offered support and guidance in the final Synoptic Project Module COM625 and in following the Gateway EPA period.

Gateway EPA Checklist

Gateway takes place following on from the completion of all credited on-programme modules at the end of 3rd year before moving on to the EndPoint Assessment period.

There will be a Gateway meeting to check the Apprentice is ready for EPA and all documents have been completed.

  1. Completed Tracker - This will be a PDF download of the complete tracker from the BDATS course SOL page and/or a self-created spreadsheet.
  2. Completed Portfolio Mapping to the Standard learning outcome.
  3. A signed off EPA Ready Form - signed by the apprentice, their manager & Solent University
  4. Manager/Employer Feedback - this will be feedback on the project and also on the apprenticeship as a whole covering the value that the apprentice has offered to the organisation. (500 words max)
  5. Final 10k Synoptic Project Report from COM625

All documents are available above. Once completed you will upload them as advised by End Point Assessment Coordinator
