This week we welcome back James Whale Class of 2022 BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Management. We will catch up with his professional career since graduating and learn about his current role as a Site Reliability Engineer at Cisco.

James Graduated from Solent University in 2022 with a 1st Class BSc (Hons) Cyber Security Management. While a student James was involved in the Computing Society, got involved in Hackathons all over the country with his classmates… and won prizes, was a course rep, presented at open days, worked on the IT Help Desk and was an evening computer lab supervisor, yes you could say he had a “whale of a time!”
James completed his Work Placement at Cisco and subsequently continued to work part-time with them during his final year. Following his graduation, he transitioned into a full-time role with the company.
