Tyler is a third-year Computer Systems and Network Engineering student at Southampton Solent University. He’s also a Student Ambassador, actively involved in campus life, supporting open days and helping with student recruitment.

During his placement year in 2024–25, Tyler worked as an Infrastructure Engineer Intern at UBS Financial Services in London.

In this session, we’ll explore his journey to securing a placement at a large company from the initial application to the selection and interview process, and what his day-to-day role involved. Tyler will also share helpful guidance and tips on how you can land a placement or internship, and he’ll be answering your questions too.
